Whether you're an attendee, artist, creator, presenter, or part of our incredible crew, you play a vital role in making SSBD a truly unforgettable experience.

At SSBD, we believe in the power of community, creativity, and connection. Camping under the stars together on the beautiful shores of Lake Perris, we come together to imagine, play, and create lifelong memories. Your energy, passion, and spirit are what make this festival truly special, and we can't wait to share this journey with you.

So, as we prepare to gather for this incredible weekend, take a moment to soak it all in, invite your friends, and get ready to have the time of your life. Here's everything you need to know to ensure a smooth and enjoyable arrival at SSBD 2024.

Top Arrival Tips

  • Cell service may be limited at the gate. To keep things moving quickly, turn your screen brightness all the way up.

  • All vehicles arriving at the festival must have a parking pass, and each person inside the vehicle needs a General Admission or VIP pass for the vehicle to be allowed entry.

  • Please ensure you arrive during posted gate hours. The box office will be closed outside of these hours, and you will not be able to enter.

  • Your wristband can be linked to your credit card. Simply scan the QR code on your wristband upon arrival or use an activation station inside the festival grounds. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and credit cards are also accepted at all bars and food vendors.

Don't Miss The Open!

Don't Miss The Open!

Join us at 6:00 pm on Thursday on the beach for our special Opening Ceremony and Water Blessing. This is the perfect way to kick off the festival by honoring the land we gather on, traditionally known as Ya’i Heki’ by the Cahuilla Indians. Led by Tata Guillermo Hernandez, an elder with over 50 years of experience working with indigenous communities, we will celebrate and acknowledge the land, its history, and the connection we all share.

Respect the Land & Leave No Trace

At SSBD, we’re committed to sustainability and environmental responsibility, and we invite all of our attendees to join us in protecting the beautiful natural environment we are privileged to share. By working together, we can minimize our collective impact and ensure that Lake Perris remains pristine for future generations.

For more information about our environmental practices, visit our Sustainability Page to learn about SSBD’s ongoing commitment to protecting the environment and how you can contribute.

    • Pack Trash Bags: Each attendee is responsible for bringing their own trash bags. You are expected to pack up all of your trash and recyclables and take them with you when you leave. While trash and recycling stations are provided, we encourage you to leave your campsite spotless.

    • Be Mindful of Waste: Plan ahead and bring reusable or biodegradable items to reduce the waste you generate. The less waste we produce, the better for everyone and the environment.

    • Stay on Designated Paths: Help us protect the plant and animal life that calls Lake Perris home. Please stay on designated paths and avoid disturbing natural areas.

    • No Glass: Glass bottles and containers are prohibited to keep the beach and campgrounds safe and free from hazardous waste. Broken glass can be dangerous, especially in areas where people love to walk barefoot.

    • Hydrate Responsibly: Bring a reusable water bottle and take advantage of the free water refill stations located throughout the festival grounds. This not only keeps you hydrated but also significantly reduces plastic waste.

    • Bring Reusable Containers: Help reduce the use of single-use plastic by packing reusable utensils, plates, and cups for meals.

    • Be Kind and Considerate: Our community thrives on respect and kindness. Take responsibility for your actions, respect your fellow festival-goers, and help each other out. Together, we can create a harmonious, respectful atmosphere for everyone.

    • Leave Campsites Cleaner Than You Found Them: When you’re packing up, take a few extra moments to ensure your campsite is clean. Remove all trash and micro-trash (small bits of litter like wrappers or bottle caps) and dispose of it properly.

  • Respect Quiet Hours: While SSBD is all about music and fun, we also ask that you respect designated quiet hours, especially around campgrounds. This will help create a restful and balanced environment for everyone.

    • Water Conservation: Showers are available with hot water, but we ask that you limit your shower time to conserve water.

    • Use Low-Energy Solutions: Avoid bringing generators or high-energy-consuming equipment. Instead, use solar-powered chargers, lanterns, or enjoy the natural light and designated campfires.

    • Support Eco-Friendly Vendors: Many of our vendors are committed to sustainable practices. Choose to support vendors that offer eco-friendly products and services that align with our values of minimizing environmental impact.

  • Pack Smart: Bring everything you need to stay comfortable and prepared, from reusable bottles and utensils to toiletries, sunscreen, and a first-aid kit. The better you plan, the less you’ll need to rely on single-use products during the festival.
